Founded in 1974, Abu Khalifa (ABK) is one of Qatar’s leading importers and wholesale distributors of fresh fruits and vegetables. Owned by His Highness Sheikh Jassim Bin Khalifa Bin Hamad Al Thani, ABK supplies over 300 tons of fresh produce daily across Qatar, serving wholesale, retail, and HORECA sectors—including more than 150 tons daily to QatarEnergy’s 90,000 staff in Ras Laffan.
ABK is the only wholesaler in Qatar operating a full-scale e-commerce platform—KeaKado—catering to both B2B and B2C clients. With over 20% market share, we are trusted for our consistency, product quality, and strong sourcing partnerships worldwide.
We proudly support local farmers through government-led initiatives and dedicated sourcing programs, helping to strengthen and sustain Qatar’s agricultural sector. As an integral part of the national food security program, ABK plays a key role in ensuring stable, year-round access to high-quality fresh produce.
Our operations are based in a 36,000 sqm facility, including 9,000 sqm of temperature-controlled warehousing, ripening units, and freezer storage. A fleet of 70+ refrigerated trucks enables 24/7 delivery, ensuring freshness and efficiency throughout the supply chain.
Backed by a team of over 550 professionals, ABK remains committed to food safety, service excellence, and supply chain reliability, representing top global brands like Chiquita, Dole, and Les Domaines.
